Counselling
Some think of counselling in a limiting way, some are uncomfortable attending counselling sessions. However, I see counselling as an opportunity to catch ourselves before we fall and/or if we have already fallen, it gives us a helping hand to get back up again.
We see a doctor or a dentist regularly to maintain our physical health, as it is good to maintain our bodies, but what about our mental health?
As a counsellor, I have my own private counsellor and professional supervision to ensure I am working in my clients and my own best interests. We all struggle from time to time with stress, anxiety, low mood, anger, grief or loss and having a safe space to talk with someone who is not close to you can be life changing for some.
Life can be difficult, it catches up with us all. Having a counsellor / Therapist to talk the challenging times through with is a positive way to be kind to yourself and those around you who are affected.
“Life moves pretty fast. if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” -
